Beef Stew With Vegetables

Time: 120 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 kg of beef shank
  • 5 carrots
  • 3 turnips
  • Half a kg of onions
  • Half a kg of mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 dkg bacon
  • Red pepper
  • Cumin
  • Marjoram
  • Salt, pepper
  • 3 dl white wine

 

PREPARATION:

1.) Fry the bacon, then take out the stew and fry the onion in the remaining fat.

2.) When the onion is blushed, pull-aside, sprinkle with the red pepper, add a little water, then put back on the stove and add the meat.

3.) When it starts to boil, season with salt, pepper, marjoram, and cumin, then add in 3 cloves of garlic.

4.) At the end of cooking add 3 dl of white wine, then add the vegetables.

5.) Season again and cook until ready.

6.) Serve with potato dumplings.
