Spinach Bulgur

INGREDIENTS:

  • 100 g of bulgur
  • 125 g of frozen leaf spinach
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 15 g butter
  • Salt​

 

PREPARATION:

1.) Pour the bulgur with boiling water (500ml) and set aside for 15 minutes, covered.
2.) Melt the butter and fry the crushed garlic quickly. It's barely half a minute.
3.) Throw the frozen spinach on the garlic butter, add more salt, and cover and unfreeze it on low heat. 
4.) To speed it up, melt the spinach in the microwave beforehand.
5.) When the spinach is ready, stir in the bulgur, which is filtered off if necessary. Every bulgur behaves differently, there are some that absorb up to 500ml of water, but there are some that have to be poured off.
6.) Mix it thoroughly and reheat it.​
